Clare DobieMaths & Physics for A-level
Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Biology for GCSE
I've been teaching one-to-one for over 12 years. I am a qualified Physics teacher, and have a first class degree in Physics, but I prefer working with individual students. This way I can work with each student on whatever is most helpful for them, whether it is addressing specific curriculum content, building confidence, developing study skills, or adding additional stretch and challenge.
I have grown up children of my own, and understand the stresses many students feel within the educational system. Having led meditation groups for some years, I am often able to help students with stress reduction.
Current rates for tuition:
KS3 and GCSE: ..£40/hr
A-level:.................. £45/hr
Reviews:
Clare was an excellent GCSE maths tutor for my daughter. She tailored lessons to my daughters specific needs and adapted her explanations in a way that my daughter understood. My daughter enjoyed going for her lessons, as Clare is very friendly & approachable. She moved up from a grade 4/5 to a grade 7 in her final GCSE. I would highly recommend her!
